Being close to nature helps us to maintain physical, mental and spiritual health and there is no better place that meets these three conditions than hiking the Barranco del Infierno trail.
This is a trail in a special nature reserve in the heart of the town of Adeje and it is so important to preserve its diversity that it is necessary to make a pre-booking online to visit. Its very name says it, Barranco del Infierno, but not because of its difficulty, but because the path descends to the very bowels of the earth through a canyon, until it reaches a splendorous orchard of vegetation and water emanating from a small waterfall of water. It is about 6.5 km long and can be done very easily in three and a half hours. The difficulty is medium-low and the trail is very well conditioned, easy for everyone, regardless of age.
The mountain roads, full of curves and slopes of all types and levels, will delight the cycling lovers. In the mountains you can go climbing, canyoning or if you wish discover the trails that go deep into the island. Either way, amazing and unique landscapes await you in your workouts.
Running enthusiasts, or those who prefer to exercise while walking, will find countless dirt and asphalt tracks, with all kinds of slopes and orographic variations surrounded by the most diverse nature.
