The Passion Play of Adeje is an outdoor play that narrates the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. In this play, involves more than 300 people, amateur actors and actresses of the municipality, and is performed every Good Friday at noon.
The action takes place in the Calle Grande of Adeje and includes the scenes of the entrance to Jerusalem, the Last Supper, the prayer in the garden, the trial of the Sanhedrin, the appearance before Pilate and Herod, the Way of the Cross, the crucifixion and death of Jesus.
The play is performed every Good Friday at noon.
